» Got To Give It Up - Marvin Gaye «
I used to go out to parties and stand around 'cause I was too nervous to really get down but my body yearned to be free I got up on the floor, thought somebody could choose me

No more standin' there beside the walls
Finally got myself together baby
and I'm havin' a ball
As long as you're groovin'
there's always a chance
somebody watching
might wanna make romance

Move your body, ooo baby, you dance all night
to the groove and
feel alright

Everybody's groovin' on like a fool
But if you see me spread out and let me in
Baby just party
high and low
Let me step into
your erotic zone

Move it up

Turn it 'round

ooo shake it down

You can love me when you want to babe
This is such a groovy party baby
We're here face to face
Everybody's swingin'
This is such a groovy place
All the young ladies
are so fine

You're movin your body
easy with no doubts
I know what you thinkin' baby
you wanna turn me out
I think I'm gonna let you do it babe

Keep on dancin'
You got to get it
Got to give it up

Lag vikunnar er "theme lag" G.O.B., sem er líklega misheppnaðasti töframaður sem móðir jörð hefur alið af sér. Að nota þetta lag sem theme fyrri manninn er snilld.

Bara einn galli. Þegar maður horfir á Arrested Development í fjóra klukkutíma samfleytt fær maður lagið á heilann.

It's worth it.

"Still... where did the lighter fluid come from?"

» The Final Countdown - Europe «

We're leaving together
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back
To earth, who can tell
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again
It's the final countdown...
The final countdown
Ooh oh

We're heading for Venus (Venus)
And still we stand tall
Cause maybe they've seen us
And welcome us all (yeah)
With so many light years to go
And things to be found (to be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so
It's the final countdown...
The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
Ooh ooh oh

(interlude)

The final countdown
Ooh oh
I'ts the final countdown
The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
Ooh
It's the final countdown
We are leaving together
The final countdown

Það kemur fyrir að pínleg sársaukagretta breiðist yfir andlitið á mér þegar ég set inn textann á lagi vikunnar, því stundum er hann bara of corny. Sum lög eru hreinlega of góð til að láta textann pirra sig.

Það er bara þannig.

Já.. man ekki hvort ég var búin að segja það áður, en diskó rúlar.

» Love Train - OJays «

People all over the world (everybody)
Join hands (join)
Start a love train, love train

People all over the world (all the world, now)
Join hands (love ride)
Start a love train (love ride), love train

The next stop that we make will be soon
Tell all the folks in Russia, and China, too
Don't you know that it's time to get on board
And let this train keep on riding, riding on through

Well, well
People all over the world (you don't need no money)
Join hands (come on)
Start a love train, love train (don't need no ticket, come on)
People all over the world (Join in, ride this train)
Join in (Ride this train, y'all)
Start a love train (Come on, train), love train

All of you brothers over in Africa
Tell all the folks in Egypt, and Israel, too
Please don't miss this train at the station
'Cause if you miss it, I feel sorry, sorry for you

Well
People all over the world (Sisters and brothers)
Join hands (join, come on)
Start a love train (ride this train, y'all), love train (Come on)
People all over the world (Don't need no tickets)
Join hands (come on, ride)
Start a love train, love train

Ride, let it ride
Let it ride
Let it ride
People, ain't no war

People all over the world (on this train)
Join in (ride the train)
Start a love train, love train (ride the train, y'all)
People all over the world (come on)
Join hands (you can ride or stand, yeah)
Start a love train, love train (makin' love)
People all over the world ('round the world, y'all)
Join hands (come on)
Start a love train, love train

» It's Probably Me - Sting & Eric Clapton «
If the night turned cold and the stars looked down And you'd hug yourself on the cold cold ground. You wake the morning in a stranger's coat, No one would you see. You ask yourself, who'd watch for me? My only friend, who could it be? It's hard to say it I hate to say it but it's probably me

When your belly's empty and the hunger's so real
And you're too proud to beg and too dumb to steal
You search the city for your only friend
No one would you see
You ask yourself, who'd watch for me?
A solitary voice to speak out and set me free
I hate to say it
I hate to say it
but it's probably me

You're not the easiest person I ever got to know
And it's hard for us both to let our feelings show.
Some would say I should let you go your way,
You'll only make me cry.
But if there's one guy, just one guy
Who'd lay down his life for you and die,
I hate to say it
I hate to say it
but it's probably me

When the world's gone crazy and it makes no sense
And there's only one voice that comes to your defense.
And the jury's out and your eyes search the room
And one friendly face is all you need to see.
And if there's one guy, just one guy
Who'd lay down his life for you and die,

I hate to say it
I hate to say it
but it's probably me

I hate to say it
I hate to say it
but it's probably me

I hate to say it..
